You probably have your own answer to this question. Maybe you have Spanish family members and want to be able to communicate with them. Or you go on holiday to Spanish-speaking countries, want to retire there, or own a property there. Maybe you’re multi-lingual already and want another challenge for the fun of it!

In an article on gooverseas.com entitled “The ten best languages to learn in 2019-20“, Emily Monaco put Spanish squarely at the top of this list!
Emily says: “Second only to Chinese, Spanish has 400 million native speakers around the world. Speaking Spanish won’t just open up avenues for travel in South America and Europe; it’s also the ideal second language for folks living in North America. Today, about 13 percent of the U.S. population speaks Spanish as a first language, and one study predicts that by 2050, the U.S. could have more Spanish-speaking residents than any other country around the world. All the more reason for this to figure among one of the top languages to learn!”
